Andrew I. Sriro

Andrew is an American lawyer. He has practiced law in Indonesia for three decades with extensive experience in Indonesian foreign investment, corporate, commercial transactions, finance, M&A, maritime and mining law, representing both foreign and Indonesian investors.
Andrew is the author of numerous scholarly articles and invited papers and has given more than 30 invited lectures. He served as the reviser to Martindale-Hubbell's Indonesian Law Digest, with annual revisions beginning in 1999. He is also the author of two best-selling references on Indonesian law, "Sriro's Desk Reference of Indonesian Law" and "Sriro's Desk Reference of Indonesian Company Law", first published in 2005. He has also contributed works to International Comparative Legal Guides, Thomson Reuters publications and Lexology's Getting the Deal Through: Mining Indonesia 2022.
Andrew received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Michigan in 1987, a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1993 and the Indonesian degree of Magister Hukum (Masters of Law – LLm equivalent) from Universitas Padjadjaran in 2006.
Andrew is a member of the California State Bar, and is recognized and licensed as a foreign advocate by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia.
