Jason Bonin

Jason Bonin joined Adnan Kelana Haryanto & Hermanto as foreign counsel in 2019. Prior to joining AKHH, he worked in the Berlin office of an international law firm as well as in academia, holding research and teaching positions in leading universities in Singapore and Indonesia. His practice focuses on general corporate and investment law, with a special concentration on cross-border transactional and advisory work in Indonesia.
In addition to legal practice, Jason continues to work with a number of leading universities and non-governmental organizations in Indonesia on matters related to legal education and research. He is also working with a UN specialized agency on specific projects within that agency’s mandate.
Jason is an active member of the District of Columbia Bar and a registered foreign lawyer with the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). He received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Florida, LL.M. (Adv.) from Leiden University, and Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore for a dissertation on international air transport regulation in East and Southeast Asia.
