Beria Wieke is an associate partner at AKHH, where her practice encompasses corporate/M&A, oil and gas, and shipping sectors. She joined the firm in 2010, having previously worked at another leading law firm in Indonesia.

Wieke possesses extensive experience advising on all stages of oil and gas and shipping projects, with particular expertise in upstream and downstream oil and gas infrastructure, LNG value chains, shipping, port operations, and maritime assets. Her experience spans the entire project lifecycle, including bid preparation, transaction structuring, licensing and permitting, financing, as well as ongoing legal support throughout the operational phase. She is especially recognised for her contributions to Indonesia’s energy and LNG infrastructure sectors, having played a pivotal role in several landmark and first-of-their-kind projects such as LNG-to-power initiatives, floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs), and offshore gas infrastructure.

In addition to her sector-focused practice, Wieke maintains an active corporate/M&A and foreign investment practice, advising clients across diverse industries. Her work often involves navigating complex regulatory frameworks, providing guidance on acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs, and investments with a focus on practical and solutions-oriented legal advice.

Wieke’s experience also includes an international secondment with a leading Japanese law firm in Tokyo, where she advised, in particular, Japanese investors on Indonesian corporate and investment matters. Wieke is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and the Financial Sector Legal Consultants Association (HKHSK).
